We are working with a group of young people in Springwater Park Local Nature Reserve in Whitefield, Greater Manchester to support them to design and undertake their own John Muir Award experience. The project will build connection to this local wildspace and also grow and develop the participants’ eco- literacy, and confidence to design and facilitate their own nature grounded activities.
The John Muir Award, encourages people of all backgrounds to connect with, enjoy and care for wild places. Participants learn about the special attributes of wild places and the Award helps them Discover, Explore, Conserve and Share their experience of wild places.
