Bury is a fantastic place to live.
It has a strong sense of identity, rich community spirit, beautiful green spaces and the friendliest people.
It is a place that people feel connected to, where they choose to put down roots, and that they truly love.
In this project we would like to capture that sense of connection to create acommunity written love letter to our town.
The project invites local residents to share the things that they love about our town. These ideas will be used to create a zine which tries to capture the essence of why the town is loved so much.
The project will culminate in a community walk in one of Bury’s beautiful green spaces where walkers will be invited to look back over the town and hear some of the reasons that it is such a special place.
